Nectar Dei is the ultra-premium wine from the house of Nittardi in Tuscany and was named after the wine estate's original name when it was owned by the famous artist Michelangelo in the 16th century. Nectar Dei is an exquisite blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Every year, according to the tradition of the domain, the first bottles of this wine are given to the Pope, just as Michelangelo gave a number of bottles of his wine to the Pope as a gift for the many assignments he was allowed to carry out.

This powerful and complex red wine shows itself in the nose with ripe dark fruit, sweet spices, toast, vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth the wine is firm, full and round and continues to linger in the mouth for a long time. With its firm tannins and special harmony, this wine is ideal for very fine dishes. After vinification, this wine matures for 24 months in French oak barrels and tonneaux. This is a beautiful bottle that asks to be shared with the nicest friends and the most beautiful dishes!
