Chateau Khoury St. Therese 2017

This red wine owes its name to a unique property of the wine estate. They dug here to a depth of 120 meters, where they found relics of Saint Teresa, from a nearby monastery. The vineyards and domain are located in Zahlé. The subsoil consists of clay and limestone. Only 1.5 hectares for this wine, with an average of 20 years old vines. The grapes are grown organically and picked entirely by hand with great care. The wine is then aged for 6 months in barrel and a further 4 months before being released on the market. In the nose, this wine gives us green pepper, cassis, ripe forest fruits and a spicy undertone. In the mouth especially the forest fruits and spices come up and in the aftertaste we are rewarded with well-balanced tannins. Serve with a piece of tender red meat from us! health!
