Regular price €45,00Château Qanafar is a family business that has been in existence since 2005. This makes it one of the youngest wine estates in Lebanon. Nevertheless, they are already very successful today due to their precision and finesse. It started as a hobby, with the intention of producing only 300 bottles. The domain now owns 25 hectares. Son Eddy Naïm leads the domain and does an excellent job. EVA is the domain's unique viognier and thrives particularly well in the warm Bekaa Valley. The result is astonishing when you know what hot temperatures are reached in summer. It is the freshness of the nights that allows for a slow ripening with the build-up of fine and complex aromas, typical of the Viognier, such as ripe vineyard peach, apricot and lush flowers. In the mouth this wine is very full and warm, with broad mouth filling and surprisingly fine acidity that keeps everything in balance. An intense wood aging supports the whole, albeit finely integrated. A must-try for Viognier aficionados, but limited availability. health!
