Cseri Pannonhalmi Chanson 2019

The family wine estate Cseri in Nyúl, near Győr in the Pannonhalma region, is led by Barnabás and his father Norbert, who together produce wines from both authentic grape varieties and cabernet sauvignon. Their wines have an excellent price-quality ratio and can compete with high-level wines worldwide. Chanson is a typical Bordeaux blend of cabernet franc and merlot, which produces a powerful and complex red wine with depth and a long aftertaste. Intense aromas of dark, ripe fruit such as cherries and blackberries are complemented by dried herbs and toast, thanks to the aging in oak barrels. The wine surprises on the palate with finesse and juiciness, and remains elegant until the long aftertaste, making it an excellent pairing with gastronomic dishes.
