Clementin de Château Pape Clément blanc 2018

Clementin is the second wine from Château Pape Clément, which is made with the same care and skill. The difference is mainly in the use of younger vines and that the wine is not fully aged in barrels. This ensures that the wine shows slightly fresher acids and is also quicker to drink. In addition, this wine price-quality is an absolute must. The wine goes for 35% in oak barrels and the rest goes in egg-shaped concrete cuves with its own groin. During the vinification, a light batonnage is occasionally carried out, which gives the wine its necessary finesse and rich aromas. In the nose we notice pineapple and stone fruit with a floral undertone. When tasting we find more ripe, exotic fruit and agrum with very fine acidity in the final. This wine is balanced and should be served in a narrow white wine glass. Enjoy with refined dishes and good company. Health!
