Gabriëlskloof The Blend 2019

Superb Bordeaux blend made in the beautiful Botriver region by the top domain Gabrielskloof. This Bordeaux blend comes entirely from hand-picked grapes, after de-streaking follows a natural fermentation on native yeasts and a maturation of 18 months in older French oak barriques. This red wine shows itself very intensely in the nose with aromas of red and dark fruit, soft toast, a fresh spiciness but also some sweeter spices. In the mouth, the wine is firm and mouth-filling with a nice balance between juicy acidity and moderate tannin. Particularly beautiful wine, multi-purpose and with a good price / quality ratio.
