This rather unusual and unique place (it's the only domain there) creates a unique microclimate that makes it possible to make a world-class pinot noir. The vineyards cover only 2 hectares in size and only 4000 bottles are produced per year. The winemaker, Vincenzo Tommasi, is not ready for his test piece. As an agronomic engineer, he was one of the founders of a number of renowned wineries that work biodynamically, such as Stefano Amerighi. Vincenzo has more than 30 years of experience in Tuscan wine estates and now has his own piece of vineyard. In the mountains, where he literally and figuratively sits at a lonely height, as the only winemaker of this hitherto undiscovered Tuscany. Giogalto is the accessible and easy-going version of the great wines 'Podere delle Civettaja', this wine is made from the younger vines with slightly higher yields. In short, something easier, more fruit fun and invites you for a second glass without question...
