This Tuscan “Kepos” from Ampeleia is a wine made from 3 Mediterranean grapes. Kepos means garden in Greek and is a reference to the beautiful surroundings around the domain. The old vineyards are located at an average altitude of 250 meters above sea level. The wine is mainly made from Alicante nero, an Italian clone of Grenache. This powerful red wine gives us scents of blackberries, spices and violet in the nose. When tasting, we are spoiled with flavors of ripe cherries, a floral and some dried laurel. The finish gives us balanced tannins with a lot of length and this Côte du Rhône style from Tuscany is a true discovery and pleasure for our taste buds. Serve in a wide glass. health!
