Cocu is the 100% cinsault of Château Qanafar, while all other red wines are blends, this wine stands alone on its typicity from the cinsault grape. Cinsault is said to be one of the older grape varieties from (present-day) Lebanon, which is often labeled as the pinot noir of the South. Wine historians do not yet agree, but there are even indications that cinsault has its origins in the Middle East... Enjoy with fine and soft dishes, even with fried/grilled fish and shellfish this wine can be particularly interesting.
