Château de Bioul 'Terre Charlot' 2023
Regular price €17,90Terre Charlot is an expressive Belgian white wine produced by Château de Bioul in the Viroin valley, a region known for its chalky soils and cool microclimate. This cuvée is a blend of Muscaris, Solaris and Souvignier Gris grape varieties – three mold-resistant varieties that thrive in the Belgian climate and require minimal treatment, in line with the estate’s organic philosophy.
In the glass, the wine shows a light straw yellow color with green reflections. The aroma is intense and inviting, with exotic fruit, elderflower, citrus zest and a subtle spiciness. The taste is fresh, lively and pure, with a nice balance between fruity expression and fresh acidity. The mineral touch in the aftertaste reflects the character of the terroir.
The Terre Charlot is a versatile white wine that goes well with spring salads, asparagus, steamed or marinated fish, or simply as a fresh glass with an aperitif.
