Château de Bioul 'Batte de la Reine' 2023
Regular price €19,90The Batte de la Reine is a white wine with more depth and structure, produced by Château de Bioul on the chalky hills of the Namur Condroz. This cuvée is made from Cabernet Blanc, Souvignier Gris and Johanniter – three mold-resistant grape varieties that provide both aromatic expression and ageing potential.
The wine has a deep straw yellow colour and opens on the nose with aromas of ripe yellow fruits such as peach and mirabelle, complemented by subtle floral and spicy notes. In the mouth it is full and structured, with a nice balance between ripe fruit, fresh acidity and a slightly creamy texture. A subtle minerality and a long finish underline the character of this wine.
The Batte de la Reine is a gastronomic white wine that goes perfectly with poultry, dishes with creamy sauces, mature cheeses or rich vegetarian preparations.
