Lequart Millésimé 2012

The Millésime 2012 from Champagne Lequart is a beautiful example of the craftsmanship of this family-owned estate in the Marne Valley. In this exceptional year, Laurent Lequart carefully selected the best grapes of pinot meunier and chardonnay to create an elegant and layered blend that reflects the unique terroir.

This cuvée is composed of 50% meunier and 50% chardonnay and underwent an extended aging of 72 months ‘sur lattes.’ Part of the chardonnay base wine was matured in oak barrels, adding extra depth and complexity.

The nose reveals delicate aromas of ripe fruit, subtle spices, and a hint of toasted bread. On the palate, the Champagne combines freshness with a soft, rounded texture and an elegant, long finish.
