Gorgo

The Gorgo wine estate, located between Verona and Lake Garda in the picturesque Veneto, was founded in 1975 by Alberta and Roberto Bricolo. Since its foundation, the estate has focused on the production of classic wines that embody the essence of this region. Today, their daughter Roberta Bricolo is at the helm of this family business, building on the vision and values of her parents.

Roberta, who initially pursued a career as a lawyer, felt increasingly drawn to life as a winemaker. This passion led her to initiate a major transition in 2014: the complete conversion of the vineyards to organic cultivation. The estate now comprises 53 hectares of certified organic vineyards.

Gorgo attaches great importance to the territorial identity and respect for the indigenous grape varieties. The aim is to produce wines that remain true to their origins, but at the same time have a contemporary and versatile appearance. The health of the grapes and the quality of the wines are central to this. Thanks to the combination of traditional methods and modern insights, Gorgo has acquired a prominent position in the wine world of Verona and beyond.
