Heerlyckheyt Roonen Bergh

This domain is located in the heart of Heuvelland in the village of Westouter. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Rodeberg, where Simon Riquiere and his wife Joke Lemenu run their wine estate and event location. They are also the driving forces behind the website www.wijnenuitheuvelland.be to put the wine region 'Heuvelland' on the map to the broader public. Simon had already been bitten by the wine bug at home, but first studied chemistry in Ostend. He then trained as a winemaker through Syntra and did an internship at the estate of Edward & Katrien at Monteberg (also a winner in our wine range since day one). In 2020 they started planting 3,600 vines. In the future this will increase to 12,500 plants and a production of up to 20,000 bottles. The result can be seen and tasted.
