Macvin from the Jura is a liqueur wine and consists of two thirds grape juice and one third marc de Jura with 50 percent alcohol. By adding the marc, the fermentation stops during the vinification process and the fresh aromas of the grape juice are nicely woven into the whole.
In the nose scents of plum, ripe yellow fruit and a light marzipan scent. In the mouth a mouth-filling wine with notes of agrum, almond and a floral undertone.
