La Falize

This domain is located in the heart of the province of Namur, in the picturesque Rhisnes. The vines were already planted in 2012. The noble de Mévius family owns the estate 'La Falize', which is surrounded by no less than 200 hectares of forest. During our visit we saw that nothing is left to chance to resolutely go for top quality. The wine falls under the Belgian appellation Côte de Sambre et Meuse and biodynamic work is carried out in the vineyards, under the supervision of Peter Colemont. Peter is also the owner and winemaker of Clos d'Opleeuw. In addition to wine, the domain also grows organic vegetables and cereals, making it actually completely independent. In a blind tasting, this wine can stand next to great Burgundy wines without blushing! The quantities are limited, but we were able to get a number of bottles especially for you. health!
