Pardevalles

Filter
Pardevalles was founded in 1949 by Rafael Alonso, following a family tradition dedicated for generations to growing grapes and making wine. At present, the 3rd generation of the family is at the helm of the domain, preserving the values with which it was founded at the time. The domain's philosophy is based on making wines that express the character and identity of their origins, with a deep respect for the earth and indigenous grape varieties, combining tradition, innovation and hard work.
The domain is one of the pioneers of the appellation 'Tierra de León D.O'. Within this DO, the autochthonous grape varieties prieto picudo and albarín blanco are an important basis. The domain is located in Valdevimbre, a village in León, near the Camino de Santiago and famous for its ancient caves where wine was made long ago. Today, the domain combines their modern winemaking infrastructure with a 300-year-old cave as a cellar where the barrels of wine mature.
