Gusbourne Estate pinot noir 2022

This red pinot noir from Gusbourne Estate comes from south-facing vineyards in Appledore, with a limestone and clay subsoil that gives the wine its unique character. The grapes are hand-picked, after which fermentation takes place for five days at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. The wine is then matured for 10 months in Allier oak barrels, 20% of which are new and 80% older.

On the nose you will discover aromas of ripe blueberries, wild mushrooms and cherry. On the palate this elegant red wine offers a taste palette of plum, strawberry and cherry, beautifully balanced with refreshing acidity and a long, refined finish.
