Manincor Tannenberg sauvignon blanc 2023
Regular price €39,50Tannenberg is Manincor's 'parcellar' sauvignon blanc, originating from one specific vineyard: Liebeneich in Terlan. This south-west-facing slope lies at an altitude of 300 metres and combines a mild, well-ventilated microclimate with mineral-rich soils of sand, clay and weathered porphyry. This produces wines with a pronounced terroir expression and an impressive tension between power and finesse.
The vinification is aimed at maximum expression: twelve hours of skin contact in the press, spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts in oak barrels, and then nine months of maturation on the fine lees. Everything is done with respect for the grape, the terroir and the time needed to achieve a harmonious wine.
In the glass, Tannenberg shows itself golden yellow with brilliance. The nose is intensely aromatic, with notes of mango, papaya and passion fruit. In the mouth you get a precise, focused wine: juicy in the mid-palette, with a pronounced minerality and a long, salty finish with a flint-like touch. A sauvignon blanc with depth, structure and character – more gastronomic than frivolous.
