Quinta do Vesúvio is one of the Douro Valley’s most iconic estates, tucked away in the wild, unspoiled landscape of the Douro Superior. The estate is best known for its legendary Vintage Ports, but over the past few decades, it has also built a strong reputation for its still wines under the Douro DOC. Within that range, the Comboio wines offer a more accessible and fresher take on the region, without compromising on precision or terroir expression.

The Comboio do Vesúvio White is an elegant and vibrant white wine that highlights the Douro’s freshness in a contemporary style. Part of the juice comes from free-run after gentle destemming, to preserve maximum purity and finesse. Another portion undergoes a short skin maceration before soft pressing, adding aromatic depth and a fine texture to the wine. After fermentation, the wine rests on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks, which gives a subtle roundness and added complexity in the glass.
