Matching wines with pheasant

Pheasant is one of the finest and most delicate game pieces, which is usually very classically prepared with a cream sauce. In combination with these types of dishes, we propose wines with great finesse and elegance, often with a slightly earthy undertone.

TIP: Do not serve these wines too warm, room temperature is out of the question. If you don't have a wine cabinet, put the wine outside on the terrace for about 30 minutes before serving. Then the temperature is usually perfect. A red wine is better a little too cold than too warm, because the temperature in a wine glass rises faster than it drops.
