Domaine Fabien Duveau, located in Chacé near Saumur, has been led by the eighth generation of the family since 2008. The vineyards are managed organically and biodynamically (Demeter‑certified), with a strong focus on terroir expression and respect for biodiversity.

‘Clos de Bellevue’ is a Saumur Blanc made from 100% chenin blanc, sourced from vines averaging 25 years old planted on south‑facing slopes in Saint‑Cyr‑en‑Bourg. The subsoil consists of green chalk, a limestone terrain that lends finesse and structure to the wine. The parcel is naturally grassed and worked by hand, from the vineyard through to harvest.

After a slow pressing, spontaneous fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, without added sulfites, in the estate’s underground cellar. The wine is then traditionally aged in concrete tanks and old barriques.

This cuvée stands out for its aromatic precision and its fresh, pure style: aromas of pineapple and white flowers, an elegant palate, and a long, mineral finish. Annual production is about 3,500 bottles.
