Niero 'Les Ravines' Condrieu 2021

Condrieu is a wine appellation where only white wines are made from 100% Viognier grapes. The vineyard of the Niero domain covers 3.4 hectares and comes from 4 different flanks, namely Roncharde, Côte Chantillon, La Caille and Vergelas. All slopes all feature the typical granite bottom. The vines are on average around 20 years old. The grapes are all picked manually, according to Rémi's philosophy, but also the sides are so steep that it would be impossible to do this by machine. This wine also receives an education of 40% in oak barrels and 60% in stainless steel cuves. This generous wine has a deep intense color and in the nose we have acacia flowers, ripe peach and a slightly nutty character. In the mouth, this wine is very mouth-filling with flavors of ripe white stone fruit, a soft floral undertone and a mineral finish that lasts for a very long time. Serve in a wide wine glass, preferably not too cold to fully enjoy its richness. Tasting pleasure guaranteed. Health!
