La Madrugada is the brainchild of four friends: Bob, Johan, Olivier and Tom, who started their project in the high Uco Valley in Argentina in 2017. A micro-project of 0.5 hectares, where they make their dream come true, making their own wine.

Intense, cherry red colored red wine with thick tears, in the nose this red wine shows a lot of complexity and finesse with aromas of red and black fruit, candied cranberry, ripe blueberries and blackberries, cherries and candied sweet pepper. In the mouth we experience a lot of finesse, although the wine starts firmly with high tannin, the whole is finely supported by the strikingly elegant acids. The slightly higher alcohol ultimately ensures a powerful, full-bodied red wine with intensity, complexity and a longer finish. This wine is an example of the greatness that cabernet franc can assume in 'monocépage'. Distinguished power, finely tuned and elegant.

Thanks to its combination of higher acids, tannin and alcohol, this red wine can handle a longer cellar aging, drink within 12 years. Serve this wine at 16°C, in an elegant tulip-shaped glass, aerating it in a carafe in its youth is a must!

Serve with lacquered pigeon from Steenvoorde with sweet spices, grilled kale and warmoes.
