Gusbourne 51 Degrees North 2014
Regular price €228,70This exceptional cuvée from Gusbourne Estate is produced exclusively in top vintages, with nothing left to chance. A strict selection process ensures that only 80% of the grape bunches are left hanging, so that only the very best juice is used after the hand harvest. The juice is slowly pressed for 24 hours, with only the highest quality retained. Fermentation takes place for 10 days at a temperature below 20 degrees, with a small part in small wooden barrels for added complexity.
After bottling, this top cuvée matures for no less than 80 months 'sur lattes', which contributes to the depth and complexity. The nose reveals citrus fruits, ripe white stone fruit and blueberries. The taste is a masterpiece of depth, almond, floral notes and fruit, with a perfect balance between acids and sugars. An experience that you must taste at least once in your life. Serve in a Burgundy glass, not too cold, and be surprised by pure pleasure. Cheers!
