Terres de Velle Bourgogne Côte d'Or pinot noir 2021

The Bourgogne Côte d'Or pinot noir is the most accessible red wine of Terres de Velle, a pinot noir that even in its youth knows how to charm many with its well-known 'Burgundy finesse'. The grapes for this cuvée come from two different plots. On the one hand, it is located on the 'plaine' of Puligny-Montrachet where the firm lime top layer provides expressive red fruit and slender acidity. On the other hand, on the 'plain' of Volnay, where a 45-year-old vineyard gives structure and depth to the blend. The combination of these two plots ensures above-average quality at the Bourgogne Côte d'Or level. On the nose, this wine shows itself very expressive, lively with an elegant support of the aging in French oak. In the mouth, brands with a soft and round attack with fresh acids and a long, balanced aftertaste. Only 10% of this wine is matured in new oak to express the elegant and fine character of this Côte d'Or.
