Regular price €48,90The domain Podere delle Civettaja is located in eastern Tuscany at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level. This rather unusual and unique place (it is the only domain there) provides a unique microclimate that makes it possible to make a world-class pinot noir. The vineyards only cover 2 hectares in area and only 4000 bottles are produced per year. The winemaker, Vincenzo Tommasi, is not ready for his test piece. As an agronomic engineer, he was one of the founders of a number of renowned wineries that work biodynamically, such as Stefano Amerighi. Vincenzo has over 30 years of experience in Tuscan wine estates and now has his own piece of vineyard. In the mountains, where he is literally and figuratively at a lonely height, as the only winemaker of this hitherto undiscovered Tuscany. When this pinot noir was presented to us blind, we immediately imagined ourselves in Burgundy. Not between the firm Côte de Nuits, but in the velvety and silky Volnay. This wine has everything needed to be a great wine, appeals to the imagination and asks for good company and a beautiful Burgundy glass. This is a wine to sound and enjoy. health!
