Terres de Velle Volnay Ez Blanches 2021

Silky smooth pinot noir from the vineyard 'Ez Blanche', located in the world famous commune of Volnay. Volnay stands for silky and feminine elegance and roundness. Ez Blanches is a vineyard with South-Eastern exposure with typical soil of limestone and sandy marl. In terms of level, the vineyard is in the same line as the Premier Cru vineyard 'clos des Chênes' and has an average age of 50 years. After vinification in stainless steel, this wine is matured in French oak, of which 25% of the wine gets new oak barrels. This Volnay is flawless on the nose with a delicate-subtle aroma of red fruits and a soft-earthy minerality. In the mouth, the wine tastes particularly soft and rounded and lingers in the aftertaste for a long time.
