Artemis Karamolegos assyrtiko 34 2020

This white wine is made from 100% Assyrtiko grapes and is one of the best dry white wines in Europe. The vines are planted on a volcanic subsoil and are among the oldest on the island. The vines are arranged in such a way that they are perfectly in the shape of an amphitheater. This protects them from the strong winds. The sand protects against the erosion of the volcanic soil and the heat in summer. This allows the grapes to ripen perfectly. After manual harvesting, the grapes are pressed and the noble liquid is placed in stainless steel tanks with its yeasts for 9 months. The wine has a light green appearance and scents of peach, apricot and a light salty smoked touch from the volcanic underground. In the mouth the wine is very expressive and aromatic with citrus and peach notes, lots of depth and a mineral finish that lingers for a very long time.
