Manincor Reserve delle Contessa 2021

Réserve de la Contessa is one of the rare wines of the beautiful domain Manincor in Alto-Adige. The domain is almost 100% self-sufficient in energy and works biologically. This white wine is a blend of the grapes pinot blanc and chardonnay, fermented in large wooden foeders and also matured on its own 'groin' in these foeders. This wine is expressive and complex on the nose with aromas of ripe white fruits, dried citrus and fresh wild flowers. In the mouth the wine is fresh with elegant acidity, a full and rich body and a long finish. For Dries and Benoît, this is one of the greatest white wines from Italy, without a doubt… It's just a shame there are so few of them.
