Prior Lucas Habemus Branco 2021

Prior Lucas is the project of the young winemaker Rui Lucas, who revived the abandoned vineyards of his great-grandfather JF Prior and makes pure and flawless wines in the particularly interesting Bairrada region. All wines are made with great care for biodiversity and sustainability in and around his vineyard.

This white wine comes from a single vineyard called 'Vinha das Netas', curiously enough a young vineyard with the less common gravelly soil. This provides a unique character to the grape varieties that are planted there. It is a sleek white wine with partial barrel maturation, very energetic and rich but permanently fresh and elegant. Due to its complexity and structure, it is a white wine that can be used surprisingly widely in gastronomy.
