This wine is among the best that Provence has to offer in red. Quirky and confident, Eloi Durbach planted cabernet sauvignon and syrah. That first grape ensures that this wine does not receive a municipal appellation. But as a great artist, he followed his heart. The cabernet sauvignon provides the rich tannin and the syrah for the spicy undertone. On the nose we are spoiled with cassis, blueberries and green peppers with a hint of green pepper. In the mouth we are rewarded with a rich wine with high tannins and especially a lot of finesse towards the end. There you will be overwhelmed by paprika, cassis, southern herbs, light cocoa, licorice and an aftertaste that lingers for a long time. This wine can easily keep for 20 years, but when it is young we recommend decanting it and serving it in a wide glass. health!
