San Michelin is the prestige wine of the Gorgo winery, made from grapes from the 40-year-old vineyard 'San Michelin'. This vineyard reflects the typical character of Custoza and produces a blend of the indigenous grape varieties Garganega, Cortese and Trebbiano. The grapes are grown according to the Guyot method and harvested manually during a slightly later picking period to achieve optimum ripeness.

After a soft pressing, the must undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees. This process adds complexity and richness without sacrificing freshness. Thanks to this approach, San Michelin has considerable ageing potential and develops beautifully in the bottle. The nose is characterised by intense, ripe fruit aromas, including ripe citrus fruits, grapefruit and pear. On the palate, the wine offers a round and soft attack, supported by elegant acidity that gives the wine freshness. The mid-palate is richer and full, with a long, harmonious finish.
